Kenyan intelligence warned of Al-Shabaab threat before mall attack..... wait for it....

Read this heading "Kenyan intelligence warned of Al-Shabaab threat before mall attack" immediately a person will feel a disgust because they were warned but they chose not to stop it but when I read the article it shows that they were warned.... a year ago. In this quote it shows how they were warned a year ago but did not have any definite date to when, where it was going to happened. "Nairobi, Kenya (CNN) -- A number of Kenya's Cabinet members and defense officials were warned about the possibility that the terror group Al-Shabaab was planning to carry out a Westgate-style attack a year before gunman stormed the Nairobi mall, according to several police and intelligence sources." Be realistic, it would not make sense for the officials to closed the mall for a year because they were not informed to when attack was going to take place.

This article did not need to be published because with the title it would give the reader the reaction to be upset but the fact is what could officials really do if they were warned a year ago and did not have a specific target or time and date. The officials were hopeless as hopeless as the victims.

I am disappointed about this article because really a year ago they were warned and you wanted them to do something and that was not the only location they were warned. The officials could not shut the entire country because of terrorist.

A lot of people wants a president that acts first than ask question later. Unfortunately, that is not the president that we currently have. To some they might look at it as a bad thing but I look at it as if we finally have a president that is rational and thoughtful of others.Obama and his office have made a few decision and I am not a big fan of. In the same time, I have to give credit when credit is due. I have to recommend on the necessary steps that he is taking in reference to giving Syria the opportunity to give up their chemical arsenal rather than us forcefully going in and taking it. I am not a big fan of war not at all. I do have a few family members and friends that are in the military. The thought of them going to war again and longer is terrifying.

At first, I thought Obama was all bluff in reference to making Syria give them up. In this article it shows that he is working with Russia and the UN to make Syria give up.

One thing I noticed about government the more selfish a government is the more the citizens suffers. The next article I found on Syria is the lack of food that they are currently having. In this quote it shows how there are a massive problem "As the world focuses on Syria's chemical weapons, 4 million Syrians are starving, more than half of them children, an activist group warns". As bad as it looks as of right now, we are more concerns with the chemical weapons than we are about feeding them. My opinions, being a mother I do think that we should try to help them in reference to the starvation problem that they are having. The thought of making millions suffer because of the careless decisions of some is horrible to me.

The reason I am deciding to write about this shooting is because less than 2 weeks ago my best friend was in Kenya and she visited this mall. I am so bless that she came back because at first she wanted to stay longer and now the thoughts that they are killing innocent people due to religion is absurd. I am so grateful to Mass Media because of it I was able to know what is going on across the world. This morning I woke up the terrified sight of 22 innocent people dead in Kenya mall. I hate to say that, a lot of people are claiming that their religion are good but the actions of the religions is horrific. The thought that people are being killed because they do not have the same belief as others is unjust. The death toll is now up to 39 versus the 22 earlier.

A president that act before he thinks and one that is too slow with his action...which one will come up on top?

This is a great article about how it is bad to have a leader that is aggressive for no reason. Being aggressive is a great characteristic to have in a leader but in the same it is better when the leader knows when to be aggressive and when to be submissive.

Being a leader is not an easy task and the fact that they are not only responsible for themselves they are responsible for a nation is not making matter any easier.

This is a great example of such irrational action without thinking.  French President Francois Hollande initially wanted urgent action on Syria cand claiming that there was no need to wait for the United Nations inspectors' report on the August 21 attack -- He claimed on Friday  after thinking and elaborating he now wants to wait for their findings.
None the less, in Lithuania after deliberating with secretary of State John Kerry, "the European Union foreign ministers issued a statement blaming Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for the chemical weapons attack, calling it a "blatant violation of international law, a war crime and a crime against humanity" and calling for a "clear and strong" international response."

Obama in the other hand being submissive and not aggressive enough is being pressured by "the European diplomats say Hollande seemed to be left hanging when President Barack Obama decided to seek authorization for strikes from Congress. He is facing pressure from the French public and Parliament for a stronger international backing and U.N. imprint before taking military action in Syria." I guess we have to wait and see what he decides to do.
